이 과목은 우리의 일상적 삶의 시공간적 무대가 되고 있는 서울의 지역사회가 여전히 품고 있는 역사적/문화적 유산을 구체적으로 이해하는 것을 목표로 하며, 주로 서울에 많이 남아 있는 조선시대와 근대의 문화유산과 그것에 반영되어 있는 당대의 역사적 맥락을 중점적으로 살펴본다.

The goal of this course is to make the students understand history of Chos?n and History of modern Korea by particularly experiencing Seoul’s historical and cultural heritage that has still been inherited and represented at the local communities in Seoul metropolitan area.
